West Field Elementary School

Summary

The new West Field Elementary in Edmond is now home to approximately 1,200 kindergarten through 5th grade students.

The single-story school is approximately 77,000 square feet, and was constructed using concrete block and brick veneer walls. It includes six concrete-walled safe rooms, a full-size gymnasium, and a fully equipped kitchen. The cafeteria is multi-functional space and doubles as an assembly area, complete with a stage that includes a modern lighting system.

Provisions were included in the build for an additional eighteen classrooms to be added in the future to increase the size of the school to approximately 100,000 square feet, and increase the school roll by over 400 students.
