Summary
Situated adjacent to Weatherford High School, the construction of this 48,000 square foot facility was funded jointly by Weatherford Public Schools and the City of Weatherford, and we undertook the general contracting work for the build.
The center includes seating for 1,000 and a thrust stage, and has been hailed as the finest facility of its size in Oklahoma. The full-fly loft accommodates nine battens, and the adjacent loading dock provides easy access for travelling exhibitions. A separate room with redundant climate control systems provides state-of-the-art storage for the Steinway grand piano.
The facility also includes a range of meeting rooms and classrooms, as well as a catering kitchen, which allows the Performing Arts Center to also function as a multi-tier events center.
