Summary
Just prior to the devastating 2013 Moore tornado, Timberlake Construction was hired by Moore Public Schools to build the new Timber Creek Elementary School. Construction was delayed due to the tornado and then Timberlake began construction on both Timber Creek and Briarwood Elementary Schools.
This 79,313 square foot school is a two-story building, complete with an elevator. The building houses multiple classrooms, a library/media center, gymnasium, full kitchen with cafetorium and administrative offices. It also includes several very large FEMA rate safe rooms in case of another tornado emergency.
