We provided preconstruction services for Perimeter Technology’s new 22,500 square foot office facility. The facility is comprised of 4000 square feet dedicated to office space, and an additional 14,500 square feet of space used as a computer warehouse. The remaining 4,000 square feet is used to house support areas and redundant power systems.
The building uses tilt-up concrete wall panels and a steel beam and bar joist roof system. The building structure and roofing system was designed to withstand 150mph wind loads to further protect the critical systems utilized in this facility. There are no penetrations in the roof system above the data center, but the floors, walls, and roof have an integral vapor barrier.
The floor area of the data center is a fully accessible raised floor that provides an operational plenum for the air distribution and critical electrical systems.
