Summary
Located in Sulphur, Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Veteran’s Center was a two-phase project for which we provided general contracting services. The center provides long-term skilled nursing and medical care to veterans that is determined by individual needs, and houses a huge range of medical and support staff to undertake this work.
Phase one involved the demolition and rebuild of the north half of the resident’s building to provide 62 new nursing and living care beds, a laboratory, X-ray facilities, physical therapy facilities, social work services, and nursing and rehabilitation areas.
Phase two involved the demolition and reconstruction of the south half of the existing facility which now serves as the support building for staff, affording the Veterans Administration Center an additional has 84,000 square feet of space.
