Summary
During the devastating tornado that hit Moore, OK the First American Title and Trust Company building was destroyed, and we were contracted to build its replacement.
The project required the complete demolition of the existing office building, and the construction of a 19,000 square-foot, 35-foot high, three-level office building, consisting of one level below grade and two above.
The basement was constructed using cast-in-place concrete walls with full waterproofing and foundation drainage pumps. The above grade structure used structural steel, concrete slabs on grade, and metal deck, with a façade comprising of curtain wall and storefront glazing, brick, burnished block, and EIFS. The interior finishes used include drywall and acoustical tile ceilings, storefront office walls, millwork, carpeting, ceramic tile, and terrazzo and vinyl composition tile. A passenger elevator services all three levels, and stairwells service both ends of the building.
