Summary
D-BAT Indoor Recreation Practice Facility is one of the premier baseball and softball training facilities in the country, offering instruction to enhance the baseball and softball experience for players at all levels, from Little League to the collegiate and professional levels. This facility serves over 50 camps and clinics for the surrounding metro area of Oklahoma City.
The 50,000 square-foot facility features seven indoor batting cages and seven pitching tunnels with pitching machines that use real baseballs and softballs, an indoor infield, and a HitTrax baseball simulator. D-BAT also houses a fully-stocked pro shop, a party room, lounge area, and a meeting room. The pro shop is located in an existing building that was fully renovated and tied in seamlessly with the new construction.
The infield is a full-size indoor major league infield with athletic turf and a 65-foot roof height - the height of the roof proved to be especially challenging during construction.
