Summary
Located in the heart of Oklahoma City’s downtown area, Century Center‘s parking garage and commercial tenant spaces were completely gutted and renovated, and the outside spaces landscaped.
The interior renovations to the lease space for commercial tenants included the installation of an electrical and fire suppression dry-pipe sprinkler system, plumbing system upgrades, elevator modernization, major egress corridors, storefronts and windows.
Exterior renovations were extensive and included the removal of the existing brick infill walls and existing precast concrete wall panels on the first and second floors. These were replaced with new aluminum and glass curtainwall infill between columns. A substantial exterior steel structure was constructed to support an LED billboard and the tensioned stainless steel mesh screen that now clads the third and fourth parking levels. New cement board stucco was installed around the existing perimeter columns, and new landscaping and site improvements were undertaken on three sides.
